Consultations and purchase of essential oils can be made through MaRiLa Veterinary Clinic/M & M Aromapet. Please give as detailed a description of the problem. Any lab work or xrays, diagnostic tests and treatment previously done, medications or supplements the pet is on will help in evaluation. The best treatment plan for your pet depends on the clinic recieving as much information as possible. We will do our best to respond promptly. If long distance, this will be through e-mail or phone; if in the area we would reccomend an on - site evaluation and exam. The pet is overall stronger and more healthy. With proper nutrition and supplements the body is more resistant to disease and malfunctions of the internal systems. The system responds quicker when problems arise because the pet is healthier to begin with.
My personal interest and expertise is Essential Oils and Nutritional Support. I am experienced in herbal and bach flower methods. Small animal practice with emphasis on internal medicine, behavior, and holistic options have been my interest for 20 years. M&M AromaPet is the Essential Oil side of the practice. The name came from a frustration due to the lack of accurate information on the internet and in literature in regards to the use of essential oils in the family pet. The misinformation has resulted in many people failing to take pets to the veterinarian to get a proper diagnosis. The pets have succombed to the disease when proper treatment would have resulted in a resolution to the problem . If you care for you family member then a proper diagnostic workup is needed before any therapy is prescribed be it conventional or alternative.

The decision as to method can be alternative, conventional, or both. As a veterinarian and pet owner myself I feel a combination of care methods is ideal.
